3rd Class
Band

Eleven people with day jobs and one shared habit. Two guitars, bass, keys, two drummers and a front line of voices — playing the songs a room already knows the words to.

About

A surgeon, a lawyer, a chemistry teacher and eight more.

3rd Class Band started the way most good bands do — a few people who couldn't stop playing after everyone else had gone home. What began as eight has grown to eleven, and none of us do this for a living. There's a surgeon on drums, a lawyer on bass, a chemistry teacher singing the low harmonies, a jeweller on electric guitar.

What you get is a full stage: layered vocals instead of one lead singer, real guitars instead of backing tracks, and a band that has spent enough Sundays in a rehearsal room to read a room on a Saturday night.

We play weddings, corporate evenings, festivals and private parties across Mumbai.

  • 11Musicians on stage
  • 4Vocalists across the front line
  • 2Full sets, roughly two hours
  • 0Backing tracks
